Chicken Noodle Soup

[b]Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup[/b]:

Broiler chicken: 3.5 lb (cut up and skinned)
Carrots: 2 medium (pelled and chopped)
Onion: half chopped
Celery stacks: 2
Salt: 2.5 tsp
Parsley flakes: 2 tsp
Marjoram leaves: three fourth tsp
Basil leaves: half tsp
Poultry seasoning: one fourth tsp
Pepper: one fourth tsp
Bay leaf: 1
Water: 8 cup
Egg noodles: 2.5 cups

Method of preparation for Chicken Noodle Soup:

Place chicken, carrot, celery and onion in crock pot.Combine salt and parsley, marjoram leaves, basil leaves, seasoning and pepper and sprinkle over vegetables. Now add 6 cups of water and cook covered on low for 6-8 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaves. Now add remaining 2 cups of water. Stir this with noodles and cook covered at high for 20 minutes. Remove bones from chicken and cut it to bite size pieces. Now add this to crockpot Cook at high for 15 minutes covered until noodles are tender.
